
Force Forward Has Surgery

CLEVELAND, OHIO â Dr. Lacey of University Hospitals and Cleveland Force Trainer Aaron Galpert announced that forward Steve Butcher underwent successful surgery today at University Hospitals to repair a torn tendon in his little finger on his right hand.
Butcher, who torn the tendon during Saturday night's loss to the Kansas City Comets, will be out of action for six weeks.
Cleveland will return to action this Friday, January 3rd at a special time of 5:05 p.m. The Force and Dallas Sidekicks will kickoff at 5:05 p.m. to give fans a chance to watch the Fiesta Bowl at 8:00 p.m. that pits the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Miami Hurricanes.
