
Force Falls In Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WIS. -- The Cleveland Force traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was defeated by the Milwaukee Wave, 17-4, this afternoon in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) game at the Bradley Center.
With the win, Cleveland fell to 3-3 overall. With the victory, the Wave remained undefeated with a record of 7-0.
Milwaukee opened the scoring (0-2) when Joe Reiniger found the back of the net off the pass from Troy Dusosky at the 10:54 mark of the first quarter.
The Wave added to its lead (0-4) when Sipho Sibiya scored the two-point goal off the feed from Leighton O'Brien at the 7:21 mark of the second quarter. Milwaukee continued the offensive attack (0-6) when Johnny Torres found the back of the net from the assist of Todd Dusosky at 7:54. The Wave added to its lead (0-8) when Sibiya tallied his second goal of the game off the second assist of the game for Troy Dusosky at 12:03.
Just 28 seconds into the second half, Milwaukee increased its lead (0-10) when Greg Howes tapped in the pass from Todd Dusosky. The Wave went up (0-13) when Pat White hit the three-point lob from midfield to score his first goal of the season at 4:11. The Force snapped the Milwaukee 13-0 run (2-13) when Justin Evans found the back of the net off the cross from Myles Stoddard at the 13:50 mark.
Cleveland cut into the lead (4-13) when John Ball scored the two-point goal off the assist from Hector Marinaro at 1:26 in the final period. Marinaro extended his scoring streak to 48 straight games with at least a point. The Wave snapped a 4-0 run by the Force (4-15) when O'Brien found the back of the goal from Howes. Milwaukee added to its lead (4-17) when Michael King tallied the two-point goal off the assist from Matt Schmidt at 12:25.
Cleveland will next play host to the Philadelphia KiXX in a MISL Eastern Conference game on Saturday, November 9th at the Convocation Center at CSU.
