CLEVELAND, OHIO -- The Cleveland Force will travel to the City of Brotherly
Love to take on the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Eastern Division
Philadelphia KiXX in a school day game on Wednesday, February 11 at the
Wachovia Spectrum. The game is scheduled to start at 10:35 a.m. and can be
heard live only on the Internet at www.thesportsking.com
The Force comes into the match up with a record of 7-15 overall, 0-6 versus
Eastern Division opponents and 3-7 on the road. Cleveland fell to the
Monterrey Fury by a final score of 5-3 on Friday night and then defeated the
San Diego Sockers by a final score of 7-3 on Sunday afternoon. The Force
currently is in third place in the Eastern Division 7.5 games behind the
Philadelphia KiXX for second and 9.5 games behind the Baltimore Blast for
first. Philadelphia enters the game with a record of 15-8 overall, 6-1 versus
Eastern Division opponents, 7-3 at home and 3-0 in the season series. The
KiXX defeated the Baltimore Blast 9-3 on Saturday night and then defeated
the Milwaukee Wave 5-4 on Sunday afternoon. Forward Zoran Karic leads Cleveland in the season series with six points.
Karic has recorded two goals and added four assists in the three games.
Forward Hector Marinaro is second in the three games with four goals for
four points. Forward Joel Shanker leads the KiXX in the season series with six points.
Shanker has notched four goals and added two assists in three games.
Defender Pat Morris, forwards Matt Brooks and Kevin Sloan and midfielder
Goran Vasic have all tallied three points in the season series.
