Foley, McCann Return to Starting XV as Arrows Travel to Boston

QUINCY, MA - Toronto Arrows Head Coach Peter Smith has named his starting lineup for Saturday's clash with the New England Free Jacks.

The matchday squad features two changes to the starting 15 from Week 4's road win in DC, with Ronan Foley and Conor McCann slotting in at No. 8 and fullback, respectively. Correspondingly, Gaston Mieres shifts from fullback to the wing.

McCann and Tyler Rowland have both been activated from the injured reserve, with the latter named to the bench, while Ollie Nott is in line to make his first appearance of the season as a substitute.

Nine players are currently listed on the injured reserve and are unavailable for selection. Matt Hood is also unavailable for selection (personal reasons) for Saturday's match, though the wing will return to team activities in Week 7.

Nott is in contention to make his season debut off the bench

Ten squad members are full Canadian internationals: Braude (8 caps), Ciulini (8 caps), Jones (6 caps), Keith (24 caps), Quattrin (13 caps), Nott (2 caps), Rowland (6 caps), Rumball (43 caps), Sheppard (11 caps), Webster (5 caps)

Two additional squad members are full internationals: de la Vega (12 caps; Argentina), Mieres (78 caps; Uruguay)

Nine players are on the injured reserve and are unavailable for selection: Baillie, Brown, du Toit, Faleiva, Faust, A. Ferguson, B. Ferguson, Flesch, Robinson-Bartlett

The Arrows have yet to defeat the Free Jacks in MLR play, with Toronto holding a 0-2 all-time record against New England. Both losses came in the 2021 season.

Saturday's game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Eastern Conference tilt will stream on TSN.ca and the TSN App for Canadian audiences, and will be available on The Rugby Network for international audiences.
