Club to Play First Ever Game in Newfoundland on Saturday 9 Players Released on Thursday.
The St. John's Fog Devils prepare to play its first ever games on Newfoundland soil, this Saturday and Sunday against the Halifax Mooseheads at Mile One Stadium. Tickets for these games are on sale now at the Mile One Stadium Box Office.
Tickets can be paid for by cash, VISA or Mastercard at the Mile One Stadium Box Office or by phone (576-7657). Tickets can also be purchased online at admission.com starting 10:00am on Monday.
The Fog Devils also announced a number of roster moves today. The club has released nine (9) players that include Tim Caines (F), Kenny Pennell (F), Cory Blackmore (F), Nick Layton (F), Steve MacPherson (F), Donivan Munro (F), Ryan Smith (F), Jonathan Cameron (D) and Lee Davidson (D). The moves bring the number of players remaining on the Training Camp roster to 30.
The club's preseason record is 1-2-0.
The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its inaugural season in September and plays its Home Opener, September 23rd against the Lewiston MAINEiacs.
