The St. John's Fog Devils finished its three (3) game Atlantic preseason roadtrip by dropping a 7-3 decision to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at Centre 200 in Sydney, NS. The loss dropped club's 2005 preseason to 1-2-0.
Goal scorers for the Fog Devils were Steve MacPherson (G,A), Philippe Cote and Donivan Munro. Wes Welcher had 2 assists in a losing cause. Bradley Dyke stopped 18 of 22 shots, while Devin O'Brien stopped 12 of 15 shots. The Screaming Eagles outshot the Fog Devils, 37-29.

The Fog Devils play its first ever games on Newfoundland soil, this Saturday and Sunday against the Halifax Mooseheads at Mile One Stadium. Tickets for this game go on sale to the public on Monday, August 22 at the Mile One Stadium Box Office (starting at 10:00am).
The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its inaugural season in September and plays its Home Opener, September 23rd against the Lewiston MAINEiacs.
