Flying Tigers To Host "Click It or Ticket Florida Day" on May 17

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers have teamed up with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and local law enforcement to encourage motorists to wear their safety belts. The partnership is part of a statewide effort to encourage Floridians to wear their safety belt during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend and year round.

The Flying Tigers "Click It or Ticket Florida Day" will take place on Sunday, May 17 at 1:00 pm when the Flying Tigers take on the Clearwater Threshers at Joker Marchant Stadium. Gates will open at noon. The first 250 fans will receive a Flying Tigers/Click It or Ticket Florida T-shirt. Flying Tigers players will be available to sign autographs in the concourse area prior to the game from 12:00-12:25 pm.

Sunday is also Lance Family Fun Day. All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game. Kids can also play catch on the field before the game and run the bases after the game (weather permitting). All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae compliments of Dairy Queen.

Tickets for the May 17 game and all home games are available by calling the Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Parking is free.
