
Flyers sink Armada, setting date for GBL Championship

The Orange County Flyers took the drama out of the see saw Southern Division Championship, crushing the Long Beach Armada 12-2 Sunday night at Goodwin Field in Fullerton to clinch a Championship Series appearance.
Jermy Acey's launched a three run homer in the bottom of the first and the Flyers never looked back, as Bob Cramer crafter seven masterful innings only allowing one earned run as the Flyers dispatched easily of the cross town rivals.
Terry Memer and Josh Arhart added lengthy home runs and Andre Simpson and Dane De La Rosa pitched scoreless innings in relief.
The win completes the Flyers' series comeback as they trailed two games to one before Saturday's game.
Now the Flyers will head to Calgary for the Championship Series on Tuesday and Wendesday before the series shifts back to Fullerton over the weekend.
