SCHAUMBURG, IL - The Joliet Jackhammers (33-28) scored three runs in the first on their way to a 7-2 win over the Flyers (23-39) at Alexian Field Wednesday afternoon.

Schaumburg starter Ryan Gehring (3-6) had a rough start. The lefty allowed six runs on ten hits in 4.2 innings.

The Jackhammers scored again in the third, fifth, and seventh to put the game out of reach.
