Orange County Flyers News Release

The Orange County Flyers are reaching out to the local business community to give area children a chance to attend the Flyers' "Kids Day Out" July 21 day game. The team has discounted tickets for groups attending the event so that children can receive a game ticket, hot dog and soda for $5 each.

Local businesses, supporters and benefactors are invited to help send area children to the game by purchasing a block of 20 tickets for only $100 which the Flyers will then donate to the youth group or city-run summer camp of choice. Companies that wish to purchase tickets for local groups or who would like to donate giveaway items for children may contact Curt Jacey, Director of Sales and Marketing, at 714-526-8326 or at cjacey@orangecountyflyers.com.

Kids Day Out will feature many festive between-inning contests, fun giveaways and prizes, special promotions, and zany entertainment from team mascot Coal Train the coyote. The game's start time has now been pushed up to a 12:05pm first pitch against the Chico Outlaws.

The Flyers begin the 2010 season on the road in St. George, Utah, on Friday, May 21. All 90 games - home and away - will be broadcast online through Live365 this season. Orange County opens at home on Tuesday, June 15 against the Calgary Vipers in a rematch of the 2008 GBL Championship. Single game tickets are now available online through www.OrangeCountyFlyers.com.
