
Fluit Named UIF Player of the Week

Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football is pleased to announce that for the first time in his UIF career, defensive end Nate Fluit has been awarded the Defensive Player of the Week. Fluit had a career game against the Peoria Rough Riders this past weekend as he had six solo tackles, with 5 tackles for a loss for a total of 34-yards. Fluit recorded three sacks on the night for a loss of 30-yards en route to victory. He also had one blocked field goal. Fluit now leads the UIF with 10.5 sacks on the season and in tackles for a loss with a total of 18.5 for 82-yards through eleven games. Fluit and the undefeated Storm will host the Sioux City Bandits (5-6) this coming Saturday at the Sioux Falls Arena.
The Storm host the Sioux City Bandits this Saturday, June 17 at the Sioux Falls Arena. Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 7:05 PM. It is "Father's Day Night" and the first 1,000 father's in attendance will receive Storm Hat courtesy of Saturday's game sponsor, Coleman Heating & Cooling.
