
Florida State League all-star teams announced

DAYTONA BEACH, FL- The Florida State League 2006 East and West All-Star Teams were announced today by League President Chuck Murphy. The All-Star Game will be played at Joker Marchant Stadium, home of the Lakeland Tigers, on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 7:35 PM.
East All-Star Team members represent Brevard County, Daytona Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach, St. Lucie and Vero Beach. The West All-Star Team members represent Clearwater, Dunedin, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Sarasota and Tampa.
Jupiter Hammerheads will be represented by pitchers Harvey and Jose Garcia, catcher Brad Davis and outfielder Brett Carroll.
Palm Beach Cardinals will send three players to the game which include outfielder Terry Evans, pitcher Blake Hawksworth and closer Mike Sillman.
The East All-Star Team will also be represented by the Palm Beach Cardinals coaching staff including manager Pop Warner, pitching coach Derek Lilliquist, hitting coach Derrick May and trainer Allen Thompson.
