
Florida Panthers Sign Defenseman Carl Hudson

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has signed D Carl Hudson to a one-year, two-way contract.
Hudson, 24, played in seven games with Florida's American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans, during the 2009-10 regular season recording 16 PIM. He added an assist and 12 PIM in five postseason contests.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound defenseman played his college hockey at Canisius College in Buffalo, tallying 34 points (10-24-34) while registering 120 PIM during his senior season. The Smooth Rock, Ontario native recorded 90 points (44-46-90) and amassed 353 PIM in 132 games throughout his four-year tenure at Canisius College.
