
Florida Launch 'Pink Out' FAU Stadium

WHO-The Florida Launch lacrosse team in partnership with Major League Lacrosse and the American Cancer Society.
WHAT-In support of the MLL's Real Men Wear Pink Challenge, the Florida Launch will host a 'pink out' where fans are encouraged to join players in wearing pink to the game against the Boston Cannons. During the month of May, fans can pledge money for every goal, save, or groundball their favorite player collects in support of the American Cancer Society's fight against breast cancer. At the end of the month, all proceeds are donated to ACS breast cancer research efforts. This year, the Launch have three players taking on the Real Men Wear Pink Challenge-Steven Brooks, Austin Kaut, and Sergio Salcido.
WHEN-The 'pink out' game will take place on May 10. Faceoff is at 7 p.m. Gates open for fans at 5:30 p.m.
WHERE-FAU Stadium, located on the campus of Florida Atlantic University.
WHY-Each year, the MLL partners with the ACS in the fight against breast cancer. Each having a personal connection to cancer, Brooks, Kaut, and Salcido pledge to raise money to support those affected by the disease.
