
Florida Launch Host Star Wars Night, SACSN Invitational Game

Star Wars Night presented by the South Florida Science Center brings together the fun of Star Wars with the excitement of Major League Lacrosse. The South Florida Science Center will have activations for fans as well as a halftime contest on the field. In addition to the belated May the Fourth festivities, the Florida Launch will be hosting the Student-Athlete Community Service Network All-Area Honors National Main Event. All proceeds from the invitational benefit the Niklaus Children's Hospital. SACSN is a national merit program that recognizes student-athletes and their commitment to volunteer work benefitting local charities, government agencies, and community programs. WHEN: The teams face off Sunday, May 6, at 4 p.m. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. for fans.
WHERE: FAU Stadium, located on the campus of Florida Atlantic University.
WHY: Star Wars Night aims to bring together the South Florida community through their love of Star Wars in support of the Florida Launch and the South Florida Science Center.
