
Florida Firecats Fall to Seventh in Week Fifteen Coaches Poll

Estero, FL- The Florida Firecats received 293 points to finish seventh in the Week Fifteen Coaches Poll, the arenafootball2 (af2) league office announced today. The Firecats (8-4) fell two spots after a last second 59-56 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers last Saturday night at Germain Arena.
By securing 437 out of a possible 448 points, the Spokane Shock moved back into the top spot in the poll this week. Spokane (12-1) clinched its third West Division title in as many seasons with a 56-54 home win against Central Valley last Saturday. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (11-2) moved up a spot to second after defeating the Firecats. The defending ArenaCup champion Tulsa Talons (11-2) slipped two spots to third after losing a 48-33 road decision to Amarillo. South Georgia (9-4) and Arkansas (9-4) rounded out the top five.
