TODAY'S GAME: Game one of a three-game series against the Dunedin Blue Jays at Osceola County Stadium...Second of four series between the two clubs in 2018, including two in Kissimmee...The Fire Frogs are 3-0 against the Blue Jays this season after finishing 5-8 against the Toronto Blue Jays' affiliate in 2017.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 22-year-old Jeremy Walker makes his 10th start of 2018 in the opener of the three-game series against the Dunedin Blue Jays on Tuesday...The right-handed product from Gardner-Webb finished his 2017 season on a four-game winning streak for the Rome Braves (A-), going 3-0 with a 1.23era (4er/29.1ip) in the month of August with two complete games, and posting 19 strikeouts compared to just three walks...The 6'5" hurler did not factor into the decision of a 7-6, 10-inning win on May 23 against the Blue Jays at Dunedin Stadium...The starter recorded his third consecutive quality start with two runs allowed on three hits and seven strikeouts in six frames...Tuesday will be Walker's second career start against Dunedin.

FLORIDA SETTLES FOR SPLIT AGAINST TAMPA: The Florida Fire Frogs fell just short of a series victory over the Tampa Tarpons with a 4-3 loss at Osceola County Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The two clubs split the four-game set in Kissimmee, with the Fire Frogs outscoring the Tarpons, 23-18.

The Fire Frogs allowed two runs in the top of the first to fall behind for a second consecutive day, but Lucas Herbert tied the game at two apiece with a two-run, bloop single to right field, plating Braxton Davidson and Ray-Patrick Didder. Herbert would be ejected in the fourth inning.

Kyle Muller tossed his his first quality start in the losing effort. The southpaw allowed three runs on nine hits, two walks and six punchouts through six innings.

MAY THE SCHWARTZ BE WITH YOU: Garrison Schwartz picked up two more hits on Sunday to extend his hitting streak to 11 games, stretching the season-high mark for the Fire Frogs...The corner outfielder has had two multi-hit performances during the streak, going 13-for-37 since May 15...The product of Grand Canyon University has lifted his average from .268 to .307 since the streak began.

OFFENSIVE RUMBLINGS: With a two-run inning second in finale against Tampa, Florida has had at least one crooked number in each of its last seven games...Florida's offense has tallied 41 runs on 58 hits over its last 54 innings...The Fire Frogs had scored just 23 runs over their previous seven games.

FINDING WAYS TO SCORE: Despite outscoring the Tarpons 23-18 over the four-game series, the Fire Frogs went just 9-44 with runners in scoring position...Florida was also out-hit by Tampa, 41-33.
