TODAY'S GAME: Game two of a four-game series against the Clearwater Threshers at Spectrum Field (1-0)...Game two of a seven-game road trip against the Threshers and Bradenton Marauders at LECOM Park (1-0)...The Fire Frogs are 2-1 against Clearwater in 2018 after finishing the inaugural campaign with a 6-8 mark against the Philadelphia Phillies' affiliate...Florida finished 1-3 at Spectrum Field in 2017.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 20-year-old Ian Anderson makes his 10th start of 2018 in game two of the four-game series against the Clearwater Threshers on Saturday night...The 6'3" hurler came into the campaign as the Atlanta Braves fifth-ranked prospect in both Baseball America and MLB.com, and is the 42nd- (Baseball America) and 51st- (MLB.com) overall rated prospect in baseball...The native of Rexford, N.Y. allowed four runs on seven hits in 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the Tampa Tarpons on May 25, but tied a season-high with seven strikeouts, and did not issue any walks for the first time this season...Saturday will be Anderson's second career start against the Threshers...The 2016 first-round draft pick blanked the Philadelphia Phillies' affiliate over 5.2 before rain suspended the contest on May 19...Anderson gave up two hits and walked three, but tied a season-high with seven strikeouts.

FIRE FROGS TAKE WILD OPENER AGAINST THRESHERS: The Florida Fire Frogs offense exploded late, and did enough to fend off the Clearwater Threshers' attack in a 12-10 victory at Spectrum Field on Friday night. The game saw both teams combine to use nine relievers, with eight men coming in for the final three frames.

Florida trailed 4-0 heading into the seventh before breaking through with their first six-run frame of the contest. The inning saw the runs come across on three hits, an error, five walks and two hit batters. Clearwater answered with six runs of its own in the bottom half of the inning, but the Fire Frogs countered with another six-spot in the top of the eighth for the 12-10 advantage.

Friday also featured the conclusion of May 19's suspended game at Osceola County Stadium. The Fire Frogs dropped the matchup, 2-0, due to a two-run shot off the bat of Austin Listi in the top of the eight inning against Connor Johnstone.

CAREER NIGHT FOR PACHE: Cristian Pache set a career-high with five RBI in the come-from-behind victory on Friday night, and tied a career-best with four hits...The 19-year-old also added his second home run over the last three games for the Fire Frogs...The native of the Dominican Republic raised his batting average by 12 points in the 4-for-6 night, and also tied his longest hitting streak of the season at eight games...During the stretch, Pache is batting .342 (13-for-38) with two long balls and nine RBI.

MAY THE SCHWARTZ BE WITH YOU: Garrison Schwartz's 12-game hitting streak came to a close with an 0-for-2 night at the plate on Saturday, but the right fielder's on-base streak marched on when the 22-year-old walked in each of his last three plate appearances in the 12-10 victory.

Anfernee Seymour holds the club record with a 19-game on-base streak set from July 23-August 15, 2017...The switch hitter hit .380 (27-for-71) during that span...Schwartz is currently tied with Alay Lago for the sixth longest streak in Fire Frogs history...The native of Cuba hit .352 (19-for-54) during his 13-game streak from July 7-26 in 2017.

WALK THIS WAY: With a two-out walk in the six-run seventh, Brett Cumberland extended his on-base streak to 11 games...The switch hitter is batting just .226 during the streak, but has drawn 13 walks...The product of California is tied for second in the Florida State League with 30 free passes at the dish, trailing only Tampa's Hoy Jun Park (31) entering Saturday.

OFFENSIVE RUMBLINGS: For the eighth time over the last nine games, the Florida Fire Frogs had at least one inning in which they scored more than one run...Florida's offense had tallied 53 runs on 73 hits over the previous 77 innings...The Fire Frogs had scored just 23 runs over their previous seven games prior to the offensive eruption.

ODD STATS LEAD TO WINS: Despite tying a club record with 11 walks from its pitching staff, the Fire Frogs still pulled out a win on Friday night...Florida also committed four errors, making the series opener the second time this season Florida had won a game in which it had committed four, or more, errors in a game...The previous contests featured six defensive miscues in a 7-5 win over the Lakeland Flying Tigers on April 21.

MAY FLOWERS: Despite falling 2-0 in the resumed game on Friday afternoon, the Fire Frogs finished the month of May with a 13-11 record, becoming the first month in team history the Atlanta Braves affiliate finished above .500...The 13 wins set a record for wins in a month, besting the previous mark of 12 set in August of 2017.
