
Flight Picks up Scales, Waives Gadson

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 11 â The Huntsville Flight has acquired guard Alex Scales from the NBDL available player pool and has waived guard Cheyne Gadson, according to league director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Flight coach Ralph Lewis.
Scales, a 6-4, 190-pound University of Oregon ('00) product has most recently been playing professional basketball in China. He has also played in Italy and in the CBA. He was in 2003 training camp with the Houston Rockets and played with the Milwaukee Bucks 2003 summer league entry.
Gadson played in 34 games for the Flight, averaging 15.4 minutes, 6.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
Scales is expected to be in uniform when the Flight travels to Roanoke for games on Friday and Saturday. He will wear jersey #25.
