
Desmond Penigar Returns to Asheville, Mazur Waived

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 11 â Desmond Penigar is returning to the Asheville Altitude after completing two 10-day contracts with the Orlando Magic. He is expected to be in uniform when the Altitude travels to Fayetteville on Friday.
To make room on the roster, Asheville waived center Marc Mazur, according to NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Asheville coach Joey Meyer.
Before going to Orlando, Penigar played in and started 26 games for Asheville, averaging 30.8 minutes, 20.0 points and 7.3 rebounds. He played in 10 games (no starts) with the Magic, averaging 8.9 minutes, 3.2 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Mazur played in six games with Asheville after being acquired on February 25. He averaged 13.7 minutes, 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds.
Penigar will be wearing jersey #26 for the Altitude.
