Flight Announces Game Time Change
February 7, 2003 - NBA G League (G League)
Huntsville Flight News Release
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., February 7, 2002 â The Huntsville Flight announced today a game-time change for its Feb. 15 home contest from its usual 7:30 start to 4 p.m. The Flight completes a three-game homestand that day against the Columbus Riverdragons at the Von Braun Center.
The change was made to accommodate the UAH/Wayne State hockey series originally slated for the Iceplex that same weekend. Now, both hockey games will be played in the Von Braun Center, slated for Saturday night (8:30 p.m.) and Sunday afternoon (4 p.m.).
"We wanted to be good neighbors," said Kurt Luttermoser, team president of the Huntsville Flight. "This will give them the bigger facility they need as they play a crucial conference series."
That night's theme is "Need For Speed" and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free Flight license plate frame.
For more ticket information please call the Flight office at (256) 429-1000.
