Flash Loan Samantha Kerr to Sydney FC

Elma, N.Y. (October 25, 2013) - The Western New York Flash announced today forward Samantha Kerr will join Sydney FC on loan for the Australian Westfield W-League season.
The 20-year-old Australia international will return to the Flash prior to the start of the 2014 NWSL season.
Kerr had six goals and five assists in 21 appearances (19 starts) and logged 1,605 minutes for the Flash during the 2013 season.
Kerr rejoins Sydney FC after playing in 12 games for the club during the 2012-13 Westfield W-League season.
The Perth native was named 2012-13 W-League Player of the Year - scoring nine goals, with her final marker of the season coming on a game-winning, diving header in the championship game.
Kerr recently represented her country Oct. 20 against the U.S. Women's National Team in San Antonio. She entered as a first half substitute and totaled 62 minutes in the 4-0 loss to the Americans.
