After a collection of nearly 125 names and triple the amount of votes online and over social media, the Western New York Flash is excited to announce the name of the club's new mascot: Striker!
"Striker" beat out five other top names, which included: Bolt, Champ, Nutmeg, Sparky and Winston.
Striker will be making his first public appearance on Saturday, March 14 when the Flash host West Virginia University at Sahlen Sports Park in a preseason game. The game kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and is free for all fans.
During Flash home games, Striker will be making stops at birthday, group and corporate parties and will also be available for outside special events and appearances. To inquire about having Striker attend your next event, click here.
