
Flash drop first game on road

ALLEN, Texas - the RGV Flash dropped their first game on the road against the Dallas Sidekicks by score of 7-3 at the Allen Events Center on Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, the Sidekicks took a 2-1 lead at the break courtesy of a Frank Mbemba and a shorthanded goal by Shaun David. The Flash responded with a power play goal by Alejandro Morales to cut into the Sidekick lead. Edgar Flores was credited with the assist on the goal by Morales.
The Sidekicks responded with 4 third period goals, three of them which would be unanswered with a brace from Robert Luevano, and Ricardinho, The Flash would score on a Flores goal which would cut into the lead. Jamie Lovegrove would add the four goal of the period. The score at that point was 6-2 in favor of Dallas.
Each team would score once in the fourth period to end the scoring. Both teams went 1-for-2 in the power play.
The next game for the Flash is on Friday, December 7th at State Farm Arena when they will take on the Arizona Storm with kickoff at 7:30 pm.
