Flash Announce 2014 Preseason Roster

ELMA, N.Y. ( Wednesday, March 12, 2014 ) - The Western New York Flash has announced its 2014 preseason roster. The roster includes a number of returnees from the 2013 NWSL Shield-winning squad, as well as 2014 NWSL draft picks and invitees from the club's open tryouts.
The Flash will play three preseason games, first facing the University at Buffalo on Friday afternoon. Then, on March 22, the team plays West Virginia University at 3 p.m. The club will end preseason with a split-match at Syracuse University where the Flash will play 45 minutes against both the Orange and Colgate University.
Season tickets and Flex packages are now on sale for the 2014 season and can be purchased at wnyflash.com or by calling (585) 454-KICK. The Flash open their home schedule on May 3 against Portland Thorns FC at 7 p.m. in a rematch of the 2013 NWSL Championship.
Information on individual game tickets will be announced at a later date.
