
Flames Sign Forward Hugo Carpentier

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the signing of forward Hugo Carpentier. As per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Carpentier, playing in his 4th season in the QMJHL, registered a career high in playoff goals (14), assists (8), points (22) and games played (17) while leading the Huskies to the QMJHL Final.
The Flames drafted Carpentier in the 4th round (118th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
