Flame Announce "2005-06 High School Hoops Series Presented By International College"

FORT MYERS, Fla., December 5 - The Florida Flame, presented by Century 21 Sunbelt Realty, have announced the schedule for the 2005-06 High School Hoops Series presented by International College. Six local high schools will compete in three games at Germain Arena during the months of December and January prior to Flame home games.

The High School Hoops Series tips off on Friday, December 16 as Lehigh squares off against South Fort Myers at 4:30 p.m. prior to the Flame's match-up with the Fayetteville Patriots at 7:00 p.m.. On Friday, January 13, Bishop Verot will face Cardinal Mooney at 4:30 p.m. with the Flame taking on the Roanoke Dazzle at 7:00 p.m.. The series concludes on Thursday, January 19 as Community School of Naples takes on Evangelical Christian at 4:30 p.m. prior to the Flame game against Tulsa at 7:00 p.m.

"We're excited to participate with these six local high schools and give student athletes the chance to play at Germain Arena," said Flame Vice President of Business Operations, Matt LaBranche. "Each of these games provides a terrific match-up that students, players, coaches, and parents will truly enjoy."
