ASSIGNMENT UPDATE: Early on, the new relationship between the NBA and the NBA D- League, in which NBA teams can assign players to D-League affiliates, is a resounding success. To date, there have been eight players assigned in all. Below is the skinny on each of the seven currently on D-League rosters.

STREAKS: The Albuquerque Thunderbirds own the league's longest winning streak at four games. The Fayetteville Patriots are on the longest losing skid at three games.
180: Although it's still early, a new season has seen the Florida Flame accomplish a complete "180" with a 3-1 record, good enough for second place, one game out of the league lead. On December 5 of last season the Flame was 1-3, in fifth place and three games behind the league leader.
