January 12, 2010 - Northern League (NL)
Joliet JackHammers News Release
JOLIET, IL - The mystery woman has made her first appearance of the New Year. She was sighted by rookie intern Tony Vallera as he was being given a tour of Silver Cross Field. This marks the fourth appearance of the mysterious woman at the park.
Tony caught sight of her rushing up the stairs and out the concourse door as he was touring the facility. All that she left behind was a trash can lid and a Jammer autograph card. Tony went after her following her snowy footprints to the Kids Zone. Upon his arrival, the mysterious woman was nowhere to be found. However, he did find Jammer jumping around in the inflatable bounce house.
When asked to comment on this mysterious sighting, Tony replied "I couldn't believe my eyes! I had never seen someone, other than Jammer, value a trash can lid as she did."
