First Pro Lacrosse Snapchat Live Story Comes to Pepsi Center
April 20, 2016 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth will play in the first Snapchat Live Story covering a professional lacrosse game when it takes on the Toronto Rock this Saturday, Apr. 23 at 7pm MDT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. The Live Story, which will be available for Snapchatters throughout North America to view for about 24 hours following the game, will include photo and video Snaps submitted by players, coaches and fans actually at 'The Loudest House in Lacrosse' that will be stitched together by the Snapchat team to create one collective Story from the event.
"As an avid Snapchatter, I know the Live Story is a great way to share the energy, excitement and entertainment of a live NLL game across the continent," said Mammoth captain Dan Coates. "I'll be sure to submit some cool locker room Snaps!"
Attendees at and around Pepsi Center on game-day will have the opportunity to submit their own Snaps with custom Geofilters - location-based, artistic overlays - to the team at Snapchat for possible inclusion in the Live Story.
Add MammothLax as a friend on Snapchat for more behind-the-scenes coverage of the team. Tickets to Saturday's game are on sale now at ColoradoMammoth.com or by calling 303.405.1101.
