
First-Place Ice Hit the Road for Three Game Haul

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice look to continue their push to the postseason in a trio of weekend contests beginning with a game against the Waterloo Black Hawks tonight before visiting the Lincoln Stars on Friday (3/7) and Saturday (3/8).
Indiana (32-8-7) heads West after a successful weekend home stand that featured a 6-2 victory over the Waterloo Black Hawks at Pan Am Pavilion Friday night and a 4-1 win over the Chicago Steel at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Saturday during "Pack the House for Charity" night.
Four Icemen notched two points in Friday's matchup against Waterloo. Brian Pinho scored two goals and Scott Conway captured a goal and an assist, while Austin Kosack and Vince Pedrie both had two assists. Indy netminder Jason Pawloski stopped 36 of 38 shots for his 23rd win of the season.
A crowd of 12,100 fans filled Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday for the 20th annual "Pack the House for Charity" night. Denis Smirnov (2G), Brian Pinho (1G, 1A) and Aidan Muir (1G, 1A) enjoyed two point nights, while netminder Hayden Stewart had another impressive showing, stopping 19 of 20 shots for his seventh victory in as many starts for the Ice this season.
The Ice return to the "Circle City" to host the Youngstown Phantom at Pan Am Pavilion at 7:05 pm on Saturday, March 22 and the Muskegon Lumberjacks at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday, March 23 for "Faith and Family" night. Sunday's 3:05 pm contest against Muskegon will be immediately followed by a free post-game concert by the group New Method.
