RALEIGH, NC - Monday night in Raleigh, North Carolina, defenseman Matt Greene became the first Iowa Star alumnus to appear in the NHL's Stanley Cup Finals when the Edmonton Oilers took on the Carolina Hurricanes in Game One of the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals. Edmonton was the Iowa Stars secondary NHL affiliation this past season.
