The first place Aviators host the second place Danville Dans Tuesday and Wednesday at Loeb Stadium. With one victory in either of these two games, the Aviators clinch the first half division championship and will host a one-game playoff for the Division Championship on Thursday, August 5 at Loeb Stadium.
Tuesday's game begins at 7:00 pm and is a fundraiser for 6th Alarm Peer Support. Camp Day comes to the ballpark on Wednesday with an 11:00 am first pitch. Numerous summer camps and day cares are slated to be in attendance on Wednesday. Special packages for campers and their families are available by calling the Aviators office at 464-6810.
Thirsty Thursday presented by People's Brewing Company is on tap at 7:00 pm when the second half of the Prospect League season begins July 1. All domestic and premium beer is $2 off during Thursday's game. Teays River Brewing is the featured craft beer at Loeb Stadium for this Thirsty Thursday.
Friday's game at 7:00 pm is a fundraiser for the Lafayette Lions Club and is followed on Saturday by an All-American Celebration. The first 250 kids Saturday receive an Aviators baseball. Also, all adults can register to win a Traegor Ironwood 650 Gas grill courtesy of Von Tobel. Gates open Saturday at 6:00 pm with first pitch at 7:00 pm.
Reserved seats for all Aviators games are only $10. Flex plans are also still available ticker vouchers for $80. Both single game tickets and flex plans may be purchased at www.lafayettebaseball.com or by calling the Aviators office at 464-6810.
