Dubois County Bombers News Release
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. - The Dubois County Bombers will not be shooting fireworks after their home games July 3 and 4, as is their tradition, but will instead be providing alternative entertainment.
Dubois County and the City of Huntingburg decided that fireworks would be too dangerous considering the dry conditions, and while the Bombers aren't too pleased with that decision, they've made other arrangements.
After the 7:15 game against the Hannibal Cavemen on Tuesday, July 3, the band The Boys Are Back will play at League Stadium.
The details for the post-game entertainment on July 4 itself are still being worked out, but rumor has it some sort of aerial show - possibly involving skydivers or paratroopers - will be involved. That game is also scheduled for 7:15 versus Hannibal.
So be sure to come out to League Stadium July 3 and 4 to see some quality baseball and spectacular post-game entertainment!
