Florida Firecats News Release
Estero, FL- Members of the Florida Firecats will be participating a career day at East Lee High School in Lehigh Acres on Thursday April 20th from 8am to 11am.
The players and Coach Bouis will spend 20 minutes with a small group of 20-25 students talking about what it's like to play pro-football, the benefits of playing in the af2 and discuss career opportunities both on and off the field.
Each small group will then move on to talk with another area professional about life and career goals. The smaller group setting is designed to give each student the opportunity to talk one on one with the players during the 20 minute session.
The players will talk with the children about what it takes to make their own dreams come true. The players will also impress upon the children the importance of a good education and developing strong study skills while working hard to achieve your goals. Firecats players will serve as perfect examples for the students that you have to sacrifice and give 100% everyday to achieve in life both on and off the field. A number of players on the team work at Florida Christian Institute and other area schools helping to shape young minds and through their influence as a positive role model help to show Southwest Florida youth on a daily basis what it takes to be successful.
