Firebirds Host Battle of Bones

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Firebirds of arenafootball2 announced today that the club will host the 4th Annual "Battle of the Bones" Best Ribs In Albany Contest during the pre-game block-party in front of the Times Union Center this Saturday. The Firebirds host the expansion Milwaukee Iron in a 7:00 p.m. kick-off as they attempt to pick up their fourth straight victory.
Area vendors will be serving up their finest ribs from 5:30 pm to 6:30 p.m. for the right to be crowned the 4th Annual "Battle of the Bones" champion. Fans can sample ribs from Broadway Joes of Albany, Capital Q Smokehouse, Chili's Restaurant, LT's Grill, PJ's BBQ and The Sports Grill with their votes deciding the victor. The winner will be announced during the game, presented a trophy and will win an advertising package with the arenafootball2 franchise for the rest of the season.
While tasting the regions finest ribs, fans will also have the ability to mingle with the Fabulous Flames Dance Team, climb the US Army Rock Wall and enjoy a live performance from local rock band Stuck on Stupid. The Game2U Party Van will also be on hand to showcase its mobile game theater and laser tag experience.
