The FireAntz will host their first playoff game of the 2006 playoffs on Saturday, March 25th at 7:35 pm at the Crown Coliseum. Game three, if necessary, will be played in Florida on Tuesday, March 28th. Tickets may be purchased from the Crown box office, or by calling (910) 323-5088.
"We plan on coming out and being aggressive against Florida." Captain Mike Fournier said, "They are a physical team and we have to come out and set the tone. This should be a great series."
The winner of the FireAntz/Seals series will play the winner of the Columbus Cottonmouths and Huntsville Havoc. The other series posts the #1 seed Knoxville Ice Bears against the Pee Dee Cyclones in a best-of-five series. The winner of that series gets a bye to the finals.
