Final Season for Doug Miller?

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers completed a season sweep of the Pennsylvania Roar last night with an 18-2 victory. Lancers forward, Doug Miller scored a hat trick to lead the team. In the past three seasons, Miller has scored over 75 total goals and earned the MISL MVP for the 2012/13 season.

At 44 years old, Miller has a well-accomplished soccer career. To this day, he is still holds the top spot for all-time total goals scored by a Rhinos player and had his jersey retired. Years later, he continued his scoring ways finding success with the Lancers. He led the team and league in scoring last season. He is currently tied with Mauricio Salles for total indoor goals with the Lancers since 2011 with 77.

"Doug is like the Iron Man of goal scorers," said Rich Randall, Lancers Vice President. "He has scored professional goals and earned league MVP honors over multiple decades. At 40 years old, people said he couldn't do it. Here he is at 44 and still producing!"

Also being rewarded for goals scored this season, is Camp Good Days. Lancers partner and official team personal injury attorneys, Cellino & Barnes pledged to donate $888 to Camp Good Days for every goal #8, Elliot Fauske scored this season. The total is now over $10,000! Cellino & Barnes will be presenting a check to Camp Good Days at this Sunday's game.

The Rochester Lancers host second place Baltimore Blast (13-3) Sunday, February 23 at 3pm at the Blue Cross Arena for the final home game of the season. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free team photo. Lancers title sponsor, Dick Ide Family of Dealerships, will be giving away a car at halftime to one lucky fan.
