Huntsville Stars News Release

Stars fans, tonight's DH between the Carolina Mudcats and the Huntsville Stars was once again interrupted by Mother Nature. The Stars were leading game #1 by the score of 4-1. The game was suspended in the middle of the 4th and we'll pick it up right there tomorrow night. Immediately followed by that game we will play a DH game. Both of these games will be seven innings in length.

MDA donors: don't forget to hit the Box Office tomorrow night. Your name will be on a pass list (or your designee's names). Because of the early start we will pull the winning raffle tickets for MDA donors between the games to allow everybody to get here. Please show your ID at the box office to receive your tickets.

Tomorrow night's DH is part of Fan Appreciation Night. Look for a lot of giveaway items and some off the cuff fun. Additionally, somebody will win a lifetime season ticket tomorrow night. You do not have to be in attendance as we have your information from your ticket backs and we will contact the winner. We will do this drawing lottery style - pulling numbered balls from a container - during the course of the evening. If you have submitted a ticket back during the season, you already have an assigned number. Season Ticket Holders, because your ticket back was different, you received automatic 70 entries for every season ticket you purchased.

Here's the latest update on our jersey auction. Get your bids in, the auction ends at 11:59 pm, September 1st. Want the jersey now? Cut thru the chase and help the MDA at the same time...$600 gets you the jersey of your choice, an uncut card sheet and free shipping. First come, first served on buy-it-now jerseys.
