
Fighting Saints Announce 2022-23 Captains

Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, IA - The Dubuque Fighting Saints named their captains today for the 2022-23 season. Returning Saints Riley Stuart and Max Burkholder will rotate the captains patch throughout the season, while newcomer Ryan St. Louis will represent the Saints as an alternate captain. Stuart will represent the Saints as their captain when Dubuque wears their white jerseys, while Burkholder will wear the "C" when the Saints wear their red jerseys.
"We're excited about our leadership group," Saints head coach Kirk MacDonald said. "With the additions or Max and Ryan, we feel the three compliment each other well and bring a different element to the group."
The Saints kick off their 2022-23 regular season this weekend in Pittsburgh, PA as a part of the Dick's Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic. Dubuque opens their season against Des Moines on Saturday, the 24th, at 11:00 a.m. CT. Then on Sunday, the Saints duel with the Omaha Lancers at 4:30 p.m. CT to close out the Fall Classic.
