
Fever add another threat to receiving corps

Tri-Cities Fever News Release
Kennewick, WA- The Tri-Cities Fever announce that they have signed NIFL veteran receiver Kevin Heard. Heard, standing 6'0" at 185 lbs, began the season with the Miami Morays of the NIFL and asked for his release late last week to become available for the Fever.
Last season Heard played along side quarterback Doug Coleman with the Houma Bayou Bucks where he caught 91 passes for 1,400 yards and 40 touchdowns.
In 2001 he was a member of the Mississippi Fire Dogs that went 17 - 1.
Heard attended Southern Mississippi where he played receiver along side future NFL players Patrick Surtain and Todd Pinkston. He was also a member of the Track and Field Team where he was a long jumper.
FEVER SIGN IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY LINEMAN
Kennewick, WA- The Tri-Cities Fever announce the signing of Offensive Lineman, Robert Poleki. Poleki is a 6'2" 290 lb. graduate of Idaho State University.
While at Idaho State he played along side Fever players Michael Hodges and Karl Kuhau - Liftee and was named 2nd Team All-Conference Big Sky Selection Offensive Lineman.
Poleki will play the role of both an Offensive and Defensive Lineman for the Fever.

Notes: Lineman, Mac Tuiaea, has been placed on the Injured Reserve list. Still on the Injured Reserve list is receiver Nick Iano.
