Jesus Ferreira was the story of the night for the Tulsa Roughnecks FC, as he gave his team the first hat trick in the history of the franchise in a 4-4 draw against the Seattle Sounders FC 2. Tulsa controlled the game through the first 80 minutes, but surrendered two late goals as Seattle stole the potential win from the Roughnecks with the game's final kick.

The draw gave the Roughnecks their first point in their last four matches. Tulsa is now 2-13-11 on the season.

The Roughnecks came out strong and found themselves with a good chance early in the match. In the third minute, Eti Tavares found Joaquin Rivas in the left side of the box. But Rivas' shot found the arms of the Sounders keeper.

About ten minutes later, TRFC had another good chance. Ferreira received a ball off a deflection of a Sounders defender and had an open shot about 25 yards out just outside the center of the box, but the attempt was off the mark to the right.

Just moments after that, Ferreira found the back of the net. Nemanja Vukovic fed Ferreira a great curling ball from the left and found him in the center of the box, right in front of the keeper. The striker buried the shot to put Tulsa on top 1-0.

The Roughnecks kept the pressure on throughout the first half, and had another great chance in the 34th minute. Vukovic fed Rivas an identical ball as they were successful on earlier in the match, but Rivas' shot was over the crossbar.

They kept applying the pressure throughout much of the half, and it led TRFC to double its lead after earning a penalty kick. In the 38th minute, Jesse Daley took down Ivan Mirkovic inside the box to earn the penalty. Rivas took the free shot and buried it to the right, with the keeper diving the opposite direction to give Tulsa a 2-0 lead.

With time winding down in the first half, the penalty was given right back to Seattle. On the other end in the box, Mirkovic slid in an attempt to clear, but his arm touched the ball in the box resulting in a penalty kick for the Sounders 2. Lamar Neagle found the upper left 90 and cut the lead to 2-1.

The Roughnecks came out strong after halftime. The first ten minutes started with Tulsa applying more pressure and creating more scoring chances. In the 54th minute, Vukovic connected with Ferreira once again. Vukovic delivered another perfect ball to the striker, and Ferriera buried the shot to give Tulsa a 3-1 lead.

Just a few minutes later, Ferriera found the back of the net again. Tavares set up Ferreira with a strong pass into the box. The FC Dallas loanee split a couple of defenders and struck the back of the net for the hat trick and a 4-1 Tulsa lead.

The Sounders cut the lead in half in the 59th minute. Fabian Cerda punched away a Seattle corner kick, but the ball landed perfectly in front of Henry Wingo just outside the box, giving him a clear shot to cut the Tulsa lead to 4-2.

In the 82nd minute, S2 pulled within a goal. Just subbed into the game, Adrian Jusino committed a foul about 30 yards from the goal. The free kick was deflected off the wall, and Cerda was unable to clear the ball. Off the deflection, David Estrada was able to fight past the TRFC defense to find the back of the net, cutting the Seattle deficit to 4-3.

The score remained the same deep into stoppage time. With time about to expire, Shandon Hopeau cut inside the box and found an opening in the TRFC defense. He took the shot, and Cerda was unable block it as the ball found the back of the net.

Right after the goal, the final whistle blew, leaving the Roughnecks with another draw.
