FC Gold Pride Announces Amway Global as Presenting Sponsor

ADA, Mich., March 31, 2010 - Amway Global will be the presenting sponsor of FC Gold Pride of the Women's Professional Soccer, under a multi-year agreement announced today.

Amway Global will also be the team's official provider of NUTRILITE®nutritional products and ARTISTRY® skin care and cosmetics.

"Our sponsorship of both a women's and men's soccer team - the San Jose Earthquakes - is reflective of the company's belief in equal opportunity, and empowering everyone to achieve their goals and to lead healthier lives."

The partnership will offer extensive visibility of the Amway Global name: on the front of the team's home and away jerseys, on-field signage, team website, community appearances, and initiatives.

Amway Global will also sponsor a specially branded seating section, called "Marta's Maniacs," named after the team's marquee player. Marta, the four-time FIFA World Player of the Year, joined the team in February. Last year, Marta entered into a multi-year contract to endorse Amway Global and its NUTRILITE health and ARTISTRY beauty brands.

In 2009, Marta played for the Los Angeles Sol, but the WPS regular season champions closed operations during the off-season. She won the PUMA Golden Boot Award as the league's top scorer, was named 2009 MVP, and was a part of the first-ever WPS All-Star team.

The Gold Pride, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, opens its season on the road on April 11 against the Saint Louis Athletica.
