
FC Dallas Waives Midfielders Rolando Escobar and Ezequiel Cirigliano

FRISCO, Texas (Friday, Jan. 22, 2016) - FC Dallas has waived midfielders Rolando Escobar and Ezequiel Cirigliano, the club announced today.
Escobar, 34, joined FC Dallas on May 26, 2015. The midfielder made his MLS debut against Sporting Kansas City on May 29. Escobar finished the year with 14 league appearances totaling 398 minutes. He suffered a season-ending injury (facial fracture) against Vancouver on Oct. 14.
Cirigliano, 23, joined FC Dallas on July 22, 2015. The defensive midfielder made his MLS debut when he came on for David Texeira in the 79th minute of a 3-0 win against Columbus on Sept. 6. Cirigliano started five matches, appeared in seven and finished the year with 431 minutes. The Argentine also played 90 minutes in FC Dallas first of four playoff matches last season, a 2-1 loss to Sounders FC in Seattle on Nov. 1.
