
Fayetteville's Jake Hauswirth Named Bauer Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Jake Hauswirth of the Fayetteville FireAntz is the Bauer Player of the Week for December 5-11.
In Fayetteville's only game last week, Hauswirth recorded a natural hat trick and added an assist as the FireAntz rallied to defeat Roanoke 6-2 on Sunday.
Down 2-1 midway through the second period, the Merrill, WI native scored consecutive power play goals five minutes apart to give Fayetteville a 3-2 lead entering the third. Hauswith completed the hat trick by scoring his third power play goal of the game, tying a league record, before assisting on Fayetteville's sixth goal to complete the four-point night.
Acquired by the FireAntz in a trade with Peoria on November 21, Hauswirth has seven goals and seven assists in 15 games this season and leads the SPHL with four power play goals.
