
Fayetteville Acquires Williams, Waives Rowe

GREENVILLE, S.C, March 25 â The Fayetteville Patriots have acquired center Nate Williams and waived center Justin Rowe while he rehabilitates an ankle injury.
Williams played his college basketball at Georgia State ('04) and was in training camp this season with the New Orleans Hornets as a free agent. In 82 career games at Georgia State he averaged 14.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots. He was a two-time All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection.
Since being acquired by Fayetteville on March 2, Rowe has played in four games (one start), averaging 16.3 minutes, 1.5 points and 4.5 rebounds.
Williams will join the Patriots in Asheville and will be available to play Saturday against the Altitude. He will wear jersey #32.
