
Fantuz Named Top Canadian For October

Saskatchewan Roughrider receiver Andy Fantuz has been named the CFL's Gibson's Finest Canadian Player of the Month for October.
Fantuz was clutch for the Riders down the stretch as the team claimed top spot in the West Division for the first time since 1976. He finished the month with 38 receptions for 488 yards and two touchdowns and surpassed the 100-yard receiving mark twice in the last three games of the season.
Fantuz finished the regular season with 67 receptions for 882 yards and four touchdowns in 13 regular season games.
Fantuz joins teammates Luca Congi and Stevie Baggs, who were also named CFL players of the month this season.
