Fans Invited To Help Storm Celebrate Doppler's Birthday With Special Kids Day Promotion

SEATTLE, July 6, 2009 -The Seattle Storm is celebrating its adored mascot, Doppler, on Kids Day, Tuesday, July 7, 2009, when the Storm takes on the San Antonio Silver Stars. The Storm invites kids and their families to come celebrate with Doppler and other mascot friends at KeyArena's West Plaza before the noon-time contest.

The fun begins with face-painting, sign-making and fun with inflatable toys at 10:30 a.m. followed by autographs at 10:45 a.m. Other mascots scheduled to appear include Scorch from the Phoenix Mercury, Fox from the San Antonio Silver Stars, Blaze from the Portland Trailblazers and the Mariner Moose.
