FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati fans are asked to help celebrate the tremendous perseverance and selfless dedication of the region's nurses for National Nurses Week (May 6-12, 2020).
"Our frontline workers are the heroes right now, including those in the health profession fighting the COVID-19 pandemic," FC Cincinnati president Jeff Berding said. "As a community, we're all doing our part to help flatten the curve and cut this invisible monster down at its knees. But every ounce of prevention we take also helps others in our region who are sacrificing not only their own health, but those of their families and loved ones by caring for the sick.
"We applaud the medical professionals fighting this illness head on, including our region's nurses. We hope our fans will take a few minutes and join us in this initiative to show their support ahead of National Nurses Week," Berding said.
All notes and letters received between now and May 4 will be collected and delivered to local hospitals for National Nurses Week, along with a special message from FC Cincinnati.
Fans have three ways to submit their notes:
