
Fanfest Tomorrow at New Britain Stadium

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT- The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, will hold its annual "Fanfest" at New Britain Stadium Tomorrow (Saturday, March 9) from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Fans will have the unique opportunity to visit the Rock Cats clubhouse and have their picture taken in the dugout while enjoying free food and drinks at the ballpark. Individual Game Tickets and Eastern League All-Star Game Tickets will be on sale at this event. In addition, the Rock Cats will unveil their new alternate jerseys which will be worn during the 2013 season. This event is free and open to the public.
The freshly-stocked Rock Cats Third Base Shop will be open for fans - with a Grand Slam Sale underway. Official Rock Cats gear (Hats, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, and more) will be available at savings up to 50%. Activities include: Inflatable games, such as the popular bounce house and the charity wheel spin. The Gamers Box, Fun 4 Kids, and Time Machine Hobby will be on-site for fans to take advantage of.
Fans can enter to win terrific Rock Cats Experiential Prizes such as "Honorary Bat Kid for the Eastern League All-Star Game" and "Guest Public Address Announcer for a Rock Cats game." The festivities will include free coffee, hot chocolate and food which will be provided by So Fresh Baking Company and Dunkin Donuts. The Rock Cats' popular mascot, Rocky, will also be on hand with some of his mascot buddies to welcome many of the Rock Cats youngest fans. Fidelco Guide Dog will have dogs at the ballpark to play with the children.
